Announcing the Boron 2027 Conference

We are delighted to announce that Varinder Aggarwal, Dennis Hall, Rebecca Melen, and Mary Watson will deliver the Plenary Lectures at our Boron 2027 International Conference. 

Our four Plenary Speakers have all made pioneering and internationally recognised contributions to the field of boron chemistry, with a strong emphasis on mechanistic insight and practical application. They have transformed the use of boron reagents in synthesis, developed elegant strategies for boron-mediated homologation and stereoselective carbon–carbon bond formation, developed methods for the construction of complex molecules from simple starting materials, expanded the scope of boron reagents to use in catalysis and medicinal chemistry, and small-molecule activation, and enhanced the toolbox for selective and efficient synthetic organic chemistry, transition metal catalysis, and reaction development. 

The one day Boron 2027 International Conference will be held at the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh on Thursday 8th July 2027. More details and registration links will be available in due course, please follow our LinkedIn page for the latest updates.
