People are at the heart of the Boron: Beyond the Reagent project and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) are a primary consideration for all aspects of the project. In addition to the institutional EDI policies in existence, we have developed an EDI strategy and action plan in collaboration with the research team to which we are held accountable by our Independent Advisory Board and an independent EDI advisor.

We also offer a mentorship scheme to early career researchers on the programme to provide support for career development. We are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive research culture to allow researchers to achieve their full potential and ultimately produce research outputs that are stronger, more relevant and applicable to society today.
