ABOUT
Dominic obtained his MChem with Materials Chemistry in 2018 from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, with a final year project examining conjugated porous polymers for photocatalysis.
Remaining at Heriot-Watt, Dominic obtained his PhD in 2022 as part of the Critical Resource Catalysis (CRITICAT) CDT program, focusing on the photocatalytic applications of benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazoles under the joint supervision of Dr Filipe Vilela and Prof Scott Dalgarno.
In 2022, he moved to the University of Edinburgh to join the group of Prof Neil McKeown to research the photonic properties of polymers of intrinsic microporosity (PIMs). He now focuses on the development of boron containing PIMs in collaboration with Prof Mike Ingleson.
